On August 1, 2026, we returned to Sukawati in Gianyar for a second education session, with 17 volunteers and 60 students.

From Awareness to Method
Where the previous visit covered plastic and its impact, this session was about method: the categories waste falls into, and how separating it properly makes management and recycling actually work. Over about three hours the students moved from the explanation into sorting things themselves.
Small Actions, Compounding
The point we keep coming back to is that waste sorting is not a grand gesture. It is a two-second decision made several times a day, and when a whole school makes it correctly, the effect on what leaves that building is substantial.
